NStCM Train (Nyon–Saint-Cergue–La Cure)

The little NStCM train climbs from the lakeside in Nyon up to the Jura, to Saint-Cergue then La Cure. For children, the journey is already an adventure: you leave Lake Geneva, you gain altitude, and you arrive at the gateway to the trails and sledging slopes. Every winter, a mobile ice rink covering about 525 m² is set up at the Grand-Champ sports complex in Gland, from late October to early March. Free access, affordable skate rentals, and activities for children: it's the family gathering of the cold season on La Côte.

Rolle Skatepark

In open access near the Château de Rolle, this skatepark welcomes skateboarding, scootering, and rollerblading in a relaxed atmosphere. Free and outdoors, it's the perfect spot for kids to let loose on wheels just steps away from the lake.

Every winter, a covered ice rink is set up by the lake in Nyon: it's "La Cabane," located at the Place des Fêtes de Rive. Free entry, skate rentals for children, hockey lessons, and a warm refreshment stand. A friendly ice outing, with your feet almost in the Léman.
