Playgrounds for children in Mies

Inaugurated in September 2024 between Mies and Tannay, the renaturalized shores of the Torry offer a new corner of Lake Geneva to discover with family. Accessible promenade, playground, beach volleyball, and beach: everything is new and free, right by the water.

The Sorbiers Sports Center, in Tannay, is a very comprehensive free-access multisport hub: soccer, 3×3 basketball, skatepark, climbing, table tennis, giant chess, and playground. Free of charge, ideal when everyone wants their own activity.

On the shores of Lake Geneva, between Versoix and Coppet, the beach of Mies features a large shaded lawn where families lay down their towels as soon as the nice weather arrives. Shallow edges, playgrounds, and barbecues: a day at the lake, simple and free.

Modernized in 2016, the Cerisiers playground in Tannay is a quiet and green neighborhood area, away from traffic. On a Bioturf shock-absorbing surface, it offers games for young children and a preserved merry-go-round. Free of charge, open access, perfect for toddlers.

In Mies, the Basketball House (FIBA) offers a free mini-exhibition on the history of basketball, and an outdoor court to shoot some hoops. Ideal for families.

Want a day by the water with family, without driving for hours? The outdoor pool at La Bécassière, at the Versoix Sports Center, is waiting for you with its pools, water slide, and large grassy park by Lake Geneva.

Nicknamed the "little Central Park" of Terre Sainte, the Marguerite Park in Commugny is a vast enclosed playground, featuring three age-specific zones, a city stadium, and fitness equipment. Free of charge, open year-round, it is perfect for a family outing in La Côte.
