Mont 4 Zipline at Mont-Fort (Nendaz) – fly over the 4 Valleys
A grand zip line at the top of Mont-Fort, accessible from Nendaz. Thrilling sensations, a 360° panorama, and a mountain memory for families seeking adventure.
An Alpine Adventure That Makes Your Heart Race
At the summit of Mont-Fort, at 3,330 m altitude, the Mont 4 Zipline propels you above the rocks and snow towards the Col des Gentianes. It’s one of the most spectacular experiences in the 4 Valleys, accessible from Nendaz, Siviez, or Verbier. You go for the thrill, but especially for the breathtaking view of the Matterhorn, Mont Blanc, and the entire range.
What Your Kids Will Love
You gear up, listen to the briefing, breathe… and take off. The glide is smooth, fast, and very secure. Kids (and parents) love the sensation of flying, the silence of the high mountains, and the gentle arrival at the Col des Gentianes. Between rides, you also take the time to observe the glaciers, spot the peaks, and talk about the mountains together.
How It Works On Site
- Access from Nendaz: the easiest way is to reach Siviez, then take the lifts up to Mont-Fort (via Tortin and Gentianes). The activity takes place at the summit, with arrival at the Col des Gentianes.
- Supervision: a trained team equips you and provides safety instructions. Harnesses and helmets are provided.
- Duration: the flight lasts a few minutes, but expect 1.5 to 2 hours in total with lift rides and waiting.
- Atmosphere: high mountains, crisp air, changing weather. You enjoy it if the wind is low and the sky is clear.
The Answers You're Looking For (Without Realizing It)
The activity is suitable from around 10 years old, especially depending on the minimum weight and height displayed on site. It’s not a calm activity: it’s gentle sport but with sensations. The flight is brief, the intensity is real, and safety is strictly monitored. Reservations are made in advance online (limited slots), and you pay for the activity as well as the lift tickets. Strollers are not suitable at the summit (stairs at Mont-Fort), although the gondolas are accessible. Bring warm layers, thin gloves, sunglasses, sunscreen, and closed shoes. A small snack and water are welcome, as the altitude makes you hungry and thirsty. Summer and winter are the best seasons, depending on lift openings and the day's weather. In terms of benefits, we talk about self-confidence, emotional management, motor skills (maintaining a position), curiosity for the alpine environment, and a real shared memory as a family.
Parents' Tips
- Check the weather forecast and wind before leaving.
- Reserve your slots and lifts in advance to avoid waiting.
- Dress warmly, even in mid-summer. It can be very cool at Mont-Fort.
- Have a backup plan in the resort if the zipline closes due to wind.
- Arrive early in the morning: beautiful light and lower crowds.

Why We Recommend It
For the rare mix of grand scenery and pure emotion, with a professional and reassuring setting. Kids learn to manage vertigo, listen to instructions in a real context, and observe the mountains from above. It’s a “wow” outing that leaves a lasting impression without taking an entire day.
