A descent of the Arve at the gates of Geneva

Just a few minutes from the center of Geneva, the Arve becomes a real-life playground. For over thirty years, Rafting Loisirs has been introducing this river that flows from the Mont-Blanc massif, with outings supervised by certified guides. The departure is at the Pont de Sierne, in Veyrier, for a descent of about 7 km down to the Jonction.

What your children will discover

The sensation of gliding on the white water, the small waves and calmer passages, all in a team and safely. Your children will put on a wetsuit, a helmet, and a life jacket, then embark with a guide who explains everything before setting off. It's a great way to let them experience nature differently, between Lake Geneva and the nearby Alps.

What to do there and the atmosphere on site

We set off in a small group, learn the basics (how to paddle, how to hold on, safety instructions), then let ourselves be carried by the current. The atmosphere is sporty but caring: the guides adapt the pace to the water level and that of the participants. Beyond rafting and canoe rafting on the Arve, the team also offers kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding on the Rhône and Lake Geneva, as well as multi-activity camps and workshops in the summer.
