Summer activities for children in Lavigny

Want a great day outdoors without breaking the bank? The Parc Pré Vert du Signal de Bougy, in the heights of Bougy-Villars, features a playground, animals, and sports fields overlooking Lake Geneva. Admission is free: just lay down the blanket, and the kids have plenty to run around all day.

Above Rolle, the Pré-Vert Park of Signal de Bougy stretches over 110 hectares of nature with views of the lake and the Alps: wildlife park, treetop adventure, little train, mini-golf, and shows. An essential family outing on La Côte.

Fancy a big breath of fresh air with the children on the Vaud part of La Côte? In Aubonne, the Arboretum du Vallon de l'Aubonne unfolds nearly 200 hectares of forest and meadows, crossed by themed trails and home to more than 3000 species of tree. A nature day to be savoured at child height.

On the shores of Lake Geneva, in the Jardin Anglais park, this playground offers a perfect stop for families: children climb and slide while parents enjoy the view of the lake, just a stone's throw from the center and the port of Rolle.

In open access near the Château de Rolle, this skatepark welcomes skateboarding, scootering, and rollerblading in a relaxed atmosphere. Free and outdoors, it's the perfect spot for kids to let loose on wheels just steps away from the lake.

Fancy a day by the lake without going far from La Côte? The Plage du Plongeon, in Perroy, is a public, free beach on Lake Geneva: lawn for the picnic, pebbles, a diving board and a playground. The ideal spot to splash about and relax as a family.

Want a day of swimming in the great outdoors, without driving for hours? The Piscine d'Aubonne, located at the foot of the castle, features a large pool, a paddling pool, a slide, and play areas in a green setting ideal for families from La Côte.

Looking for a warm cinema outing, far from the big multiplexes, with your children? The Rex in Aubonne is an independent, association-run village cinema that offers family screenings and even film clubs designed for the youngest. Easy to reach and perfect in any weather.
