The largest lake entirely within Switzerland, Lake Neuchâtel stretches some forty kilometres between Yverdon-les-Bains and the foot of the Jura. Its southern shores, a protected nature reserve, alternate with beautiful sandy beaches such as those of Yverdon, Estavayer-le-Lac and Neuchâtel, much loved by families.
