Refreshing the children's games without cluttering up the house: that is what the Pully toy library, on Chemin du Fau-Blanc, makes possible, with 1,500 recent games and toys for all ages. Each visit allows you to borrow up to six games for four weeks, plenty of scope for variety.
The catalogue holds some lovely surprises, notably large wooden games of skill, as well as games that support learning. "Board games" activities are also organised.
As for prices, family membership costs 75 francs a year or 45 francs for six months, and a grandparents' option is available at 45 francs. The library opens three days a week: Mondays from 15:00 to 19:00, Wednesday mornings (10:00–12:00) and afternoons (15:00–18:00), and Thursdays from 15:00 to 18:00.

Activities and occasional events round out the lending service. One Wednesday a month, from 15:00 to 19:00, a session explaining board games is held for children from the age of 3: a lovely way in to discovering new rules as a family. Opening times are spread over four half-days. On Tuesdays, the library welcomes visitors morning and afternoon, from 10:00 to 12:00 and from 13:30 to 18:00, and on Thursdays from 13:30 to 18:00.
