Five kilometres of sliding
In winter, in Grimentz, the Bendolla gondola gives access to a long 5-kilometre sledge run that drops back down to the village. You ride up calmly by gondola, sledge under your arm, then set off for a thrilling descent, bend after bend, in a snowy setting. It's one of the resort's great winter attractions, to share as a family with slightly older children.

Children love sledging: on this long run, they string together the curves and pick up speed, under their parents' watchful eye. The gondola ride up is part of the fun, with the snowy panorama as a bonus. Between two descents, you go back up and start again. Thrills and laughter guaranteed, in a magnificent mountain setting.
What you'll do and the atmosphere on site
You rent or bring your own sledge, ride up to Bendolla by gondola, and head down the 5 km to the village (last ride up towards late afternoon). The atmosphere is sporty and joyful. A helmet is strongly recommended, and you adapt your speed to the children's age. A great winter outing, to do again and again.
