Sports & Leisure in Geneva

In Geneva, sports and leisure activities are enjoyed as much by the lake as indoors. On sunny days, head to Baby-Plage or the Varembé pool, take a pedal boat ride with Les Corsaires, or cross the lake with the Mouettes Genevoises.

On rainy days, children can let off steam at the laser game, have fun at the interactive mini-golf, or solve puzzles in a quiz room. And to discover the city in a different way, urban treasure hunts like Explorial turn Geneva into an adventure playground.

Here is our selection of sports and leisure activities for children in Geneva.

Why choose Geneva for a family sports & leisure outing?

Because the city offers both worlds just a few minutes by tram: the pleasures of Lake Geneva on one side, indoor leisure on the other. In summer, Baby-Plage and the Varembé pool are enough to fill a day; the rest of the year, laser tag, quiz rooms, and interactive mini-golf take over, regardless of the weather.

It’s also a category that caters to all ages: toddlers splash around at Baby-Plage, older kids aim for success at laser tag or mini-golf, and teens compete in teams in the scavenger hunts Explorial or Finding Daniel throughout the city.

Think about public transport: most of these activities are accessible by tram or TPG bus, and rides on the historic tram are part of the outing itself.
