The Bains du Jet d'eau is a true urban beach located along the Quai Gustave-Ador, just steps away from Geneva's most famous monument. The two pools each measure 10 meters wide by 27 meters long. The first is a bottomless pool, equipped with swimming lanes, perfect for swimmers who want to swim laps in the lake. The second is designed for children: it has a bottom of about one meter deep, allowing younger ones to splash around with confidence. Your children will thus discover the joy of swimming in Lake Geneva, in a safe and supervised environment.

What to do there and the atmosphere on site

People come here to swim, cool off, and enjoy the sun. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, typical of Geneva's beaches in summer. A team of lifeguards watches over the swimmers, which reassures parents. On site, you will find changing rooms, showers, shaded and resting areas, as well as a refreshment stand with a terrace for a drink break or a small snack. Between swims, children can admire the Jet d'eau that shoots up nearby.

• Transport: located on the Quai Gustave-Ador, in the Eaux-Vives district; accessible by TPG bus and the Mouettes genevoises that cross the harbor. Prefer public transport, as parking is limited by the lake.
• What to bring: swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, cap, and water for the children.

• Set up in a shaded area for breaks, especially with young children.
• Always keep an eye on the little ones, even in the shallow pool.
• Consider water shoes, which are comfortable on the docks and wet surfaces.
