The Experience

Starting from the port of Neuchâtel, the LNM (Navigation on the lakes of Neuchâtel and Morat) takes you on a journey to discover the Three Lakes. The lakes of Neuchâtel, Morat, and Bienne are connected by canals, allowing navigation from one body of water to another without leaving the boat. You board, settle on the deck, and watch the shores, vineyards, and, in the distance, the Alps chain on clear days.

What to Do Onboard?

It is primarily a leisurely cruise where you take your time. Children observe the passage of locks on the canals, spot water birds, and follow the coast from the upper deck. The LNM also offers themed cruises (gourmet, tasting, restaurant cruises) and outings around Saint-Pierre Island on Lake Bienne. Depending on the boat, light refreshments or a restaurant service is available onboard.

For What Age?

The cruise is suitable for all ages, from babies to teenagers. It is an easy outing, without effort, ideal for a first discovery of the lakes with family. Younger ones enjoy the movement of the boat and the passage of locks; older ones are interested in the geography of the Three Lakes.
