A historic townhouse full of treasures
On the pedestrian Grand-Rue of Morges, the Musée Alexis Forel occupies an elegant 16th-century house. Across 700 m², it brings together varied collections: Morges heritage, prints and fine arts, and above all a fine set of antique dolls, games and toys, as well as the « Boîtes à rêves ». With its Italian-style inner courtyard, it's a charming setting, a stone's throw from the station. Admission is free up to age 16.
What your children will discover
Children marvel at dolls of yesteryear, old games and toys: a real journey into the history of play and childhood. It's a chance to compare with their own toys, to wonder about life in the past and to discover a period house. A calm, curious cultural outing, at a child's level.
What you do and the atmosphere on site
