Nestled in the valley of the Ermitage, the Neuchâtel Botanical Garden is a green oasis just steps from the city center. Visitors can stroll through outdoor themed gardens, greenhouses housing plants from all corners of the world, and shaded paths where both young and old can take their time. Admission is free, making it an easy outing to improvise, whether in good weather or on rainy days thanks to the covered areas.

- Visit the greenhouses and their subtropical plants, a good shelter when the weather turns bad.

- Discover the exhibitions and temporary installations presented at the Villa.
- Take a break at the Café du Jardin.

How to Get There
From Neuchâtel train station or the city center, take bus number 106 towards Vallon de l'Ermitage, or bus number 109. The Ecluse-Plan funicular also serves the area. Parking is limited on-site: public transport is recommended.

The paths and restrooms are accessible for people with reduced mobility. The site remains open year-round, but the greenhouses, exhibitions, and café follow seasonal hours: check the openings before visiting out of season.
