RealFly Sion: free fall simulator for the whole family
In Sion, RealFly offers the sensation of free fall without an airplane or vertigo. An indoor adventure, supervised and fun, from the age of 5. Perfect in any weather for a memorable outing.
An adventure that changes from the usual outings
Want an activity that makes eyes sparkle without depending on the weather? At RealFly, in Sion, your children experience the true joy of flight, safely, in a large wind tunnel. The atmosphere is sporty yet caring, with instructors who make everyone feel comfortable, even the shyest.
What your children will experience
After a clear and reassuring briefing, everyone puts on a jumpsuit, helmet, and goggles. In the airflow, each person flies accompanied by an instructor, for a few dozen seconds at a time. Children love the sensation of floating, the lightness, and the small challenges proposed to progress. It’s playful, sensory, and memorable.
In terms of learning, indoor freefall develops body awareness, fine motor skills (positioning of arms and legs), self-confidence, and emotional management. One learns to listen, to breathe, to relax… and to enjoy a good thrill in complete safety.
Practical: what you need to know beforehand
- Recommended age: from about 5 years old (able to listen to instructions and wear the equipment). Teens also find it enjoyable.
- Duration on site: plan for about 1 to 1.5 hours (welcome, equipment, briefing, flights, and debrief). Flights often take place in 2 sessions of about 1 minute each.
- Type of activity: sporty and sensory, supervised by professionals. Observing from the spectator area is calmer and ideal for the youngest.
- Booking and prices: it’s a paid activity, with booking highly recommended (weekends are in high demand). Packages vary according to age and number of flights.
- Accessibility: the activity takes place indoors, at ground level on the spectator side. Strollers are allowed in waiting areas. The team is accustomed to families.
- Public transport: Sion is very well served. Buses connect the train station to the airport area; it ends with a few minutes on foot.
- By car: easy access from the highway, parking nearby depending on traffic.
- Equipment to bring: comfortable clothing, closed and laced shoes, hair ties for long hair. Avoid jewelry and necklaces. A light jacket may be useful for spectators.
- Safety: permanent supervision, approved equipment, mandatory briefing. To be avoided in case of shoulder dislocation, heart problems, or pregnancy (check conditions on the website).
- Season: ideal all year round, perfect when it rains, when it’s very hot, or very cold outside.
