The largest lake in Western Europe, Lake Geneva borders French-speaking Switzerland from Geneva to Villeneuve, passing through Nyon, Morges, Lausanne, Vevey and Montreux. Its water temperature varies greatly with the seasons: cool in spring despite the first sunny days, it becomes ideal for swimming in summer, regularly exceeding 22 to 25°C near the shores.
