On the heights of Neuchâtel, the Parc Aventure Chaumont welcomes you for a day in the trees, from toddlers to teenagers. Thirteen treetop courses, over twenty zip lines, and everything you need to climb safely, right next to the funicular station.

The Experience

Perched above Neuchâtel, this treetop adventure park spreads its courses over two hectares of forest. You climb from tree to tree, cross monkey bridges, and soar on zip lines, including three giant ones that are 140 meters long and up to 20 meters high. Admission grants access to the park for 3 consecutive hours.

What to Do On-Site?

  • Thirteen treetop courses and over 150 workshops, from beginner level to black course.
  • More than 20 zip lines, swinging walkways, and thrilling experiences like Crazy Jump.
  • An outdoor laser game (from 8 years old), presented as the first outdoor one in Switzerland.
  • An outdoor escape game (from 7 years old) and a trampoline.
  • Right next to the funicular station, a large playground for children up to about 6 years old.

For What Age?

There is something for all ages. A mini course can be practiced without equipment from 2 years old. Two courses dedicated to 4-8 year olds are equipped with continuous lifelines for safe climbing. The Super Kids course welcomes 6-7 year olds (minimum 125 cm) accompanied by a parent. The other courses, with self-belay, are accessible from 8 years old. From 14 years old, you progress alone on all courses, except the black course reserved for those 16 and older.

How to Get There

The easiest way is the La Coudre-Chaumont funicular (transN line no. 111), stopping at Chaumont, just steps from the park. From Neuchâtel train station, take the bus to La Coudre, then the funicular. By car, free parking is available on-site.

Good to Know

The park is seasonal and closes in winter. Be sure to check the day's hours on the official website before you leave, especially at the beginning or end of the season. Plan for about 3 hours on the courses, enough to fill a nice half-day with family.
