Do not confuse it with the municipal beach of Chambésy, which is reserved for residents of the municipality only.

Children discover a real outdoor playground here. The large sandbox, designed for the youngest, quickly becomes a construction site for castles and tunnels. A little further away, the play area and ping-pong tables provide a way to expend energy between swims. The concrete access to the water allows for entering the lake while keeping an eye on the little ones, while the two-level lawn provides space to spread out towels and picnic in the shade.

What to do there and the atmosphere on site

Here, you alternate between swimming, napping on the grass, and spirited ping-pong matches. The atmosphere is family-friendly and relaxed, far from the hustle and bustle of large paid beaches: you spread your blanket on one of the two lawns, enjoy the shaded areas during the hot hours, and head to the refreshment stand to cool off. The beach restaurant also allows you to extend your day without going home to cook. It’s a place where you set down your things in the morning and are happy to stay until evening.
