Totem Escalade Versoix
Looking for an active and friendly outing with the kids, no matter the weather? Totem Escalade Versoix, right by the lake at the gates of Geneva, is a large, bright bouldering gym where young and old can climb at their own pace, in a family-friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
A climbing gym designed for families
Located on the first floor, above the Migros in Versoix, Totem is a large bouldering gym (without ropes, on walls about 4.5 meters high with large crash pads). You come in climbing shoes, climb colorful routes according to your level, come down, and start again. It's fun, accessible, and ideal for moving together on a Wednesday afternoon, a rainy weekend, or during the holidays.
What your children will discover
- Colorful bouldering walls, with easy routes to start and tougher ones to challenge themselves.
- A Ninja Warrior space with obstacle courses, perfect for burning energy and testing balance.
- The exhilarating feeling of climbing high safely, then letting yourself fall onto the mats.
- A bright and welcoming environment where you can take a break, watch the older climbers, and recharge.
What you can do there and the atmosphere on site
The atmosphere is relaxed and supportive: people share the walls, encourage each other, and no one judges anyone's level. Totem offers classes and camps for children (the kids' team welcomes young climbers from 3 years old, and there are even motor skills sessions for toddlers), as well as birthday parties and multi-activity camps during school holidays. On site, a bar-restaurant serves pizzas, tapas, and salads: convenient for extending the time after climbing. Good to know: for those under 12, the presence of a parent or accompanying adult is mandatory in the gym.
