Suggest an activity

Do you know a family activity that should appear on Kidora? You can suggest it to us in just a few minutes.

Suggestions can come from parents, associations, municipalities, tourist offices, museums, leisure venues or directly from the professionals who run the activity.

Which activities can you suggest?

We are looking for activities, places and experiences of genuine interest to families in Switzerland. For example:

• a museum or a cultural venue suitable for children;
• a walk, an educational trail or a natural site;
• a park, a playground or a leisure centre;
• a workshop, a course or a creative activity;
• a sports or discovery activity;
• a venue suitable for a birthday party;
• a seasonal activity that is sufficiently recurrent;
• a local initiative useful to families.

The information to send us

The more precise the suggestion, the more efficiently we can review it. The form should ask for:

• Name of the activity or place. The name used publicly.
• Locality and canton. The full address can be added when known.
• Official website. The page that allows us to verify the key information.
• Short description. A few sentences explaining what families can do there.
• Ages concerned. An approximate indication where relevant.
• Useful information. Seasonality, booking, accessibility or special features.
• Your connection to the activity. Parent, visitor, organiser, municipality, association or other.
• Your contact details. So that we can reach you if we need clarification.

What happens after you send it?

1. We check that the key information is sufficient.
2. We consult the available sources and the activity’s official website.
3. We assess its relevance for families and its consistency with Kidora.
4. If the activity is selected, we prepare its listing and integrate it according to our editorial priorities.
5. If information is missing, we may contact the person who sent the suggestion.

A suggestion is never published automatically. Sending one does not guarantee that the activity will be added to Kidora.

Do you represent the activity?

You can suggest your own place or activity. Make sure you provide accurate information and an up-to-date official link. A possible presence on Kidora does not mean that a commercial partnership has been concluded.

There is no need to suggest the activity again. Use the report button available on its listing to tell us precisely which information needs to be changed.
