Fancy a warm break, even when it is raining over the Pre-Alps? At Les Bains de la Gruyère in Charmey, the whole family slips into heated indoor and outdoor pools, with the mountains in view. A gentle outing, open to toddlers and big kids alike.

At the intermediate station of the Charmey cable car, the treetop adventure park features monkey bridges and zip lines among the fir trees.
