Kidora helps you find family outings, but children’s wellbeing does not stop at weekend activities. We have decided to highlight, on the site, the associations working for childhood in French-speaking Switzerland. And it is Patouch, committed for more than twenty years to preventing violence against children, that opens this section.

Highlighting those who work for childhood

Every week, several thousand families use Kidora to find an outing suited to their children. That trust commits us beyond weekend ideas: around childhood, there are also associations that inform, protect and support families every day, often with free resources that too few parents know about.

So we created a dedicated space on Kidora: each association gets a clear, accessible page to present its mission, its tools and the ways to support it. The goal is simple: give visibility to this essential work, and let families discover these resources before they even need them.

Patouch, the first association to join the site

To open this section, we are proud to welcome the Patouch association. Born in the early 2000s and based in Sion, it stands against all forms of violence involving children and teenagers: physical violence, bullying, abuse.

Its approach is positive and caring: rather than frightening children, Patouch gives them reference points and concrete skills to recognise risky situations and react to them. For twenty years, the association has run prevention courses in the schools of French-speaking Switzerland, from age 7, and a study by the University of Lausanne attests to the relevance of its programme.
