Ludothèque La Trottinette
For 35 years, Ludothèque La Trottinette has served families in Châtel-St-Denis and the Veveyse from the premises of the École du Lussy, at Chemin de Crey-Derrey 1. Its collection of more than 1,500 games and toys is aimed at children, families and players of all ages.
Opening times revolve around Friday afternoons, from 15:30 to 18:00, complemented by Wednesday afternoons on the first and third Wednesdays of the month and Saturday mornings on the second Saturday of the month. The toy library is closed during school holidays.
More than a simple lending counter, La Trottinette sees itself as a meeting place: it hosts creative workshops and family events, where young and old come together around games.

The shelves mix skill games, board games, educational games and both indoor and outdoor toys: enough to equip an afternoon at home as well as a fine day in the garden, without having to buy every new release. Membership remains affordable: 25 francs for six months or 40 francs for the year. A simple formula for regularly refreshing children's games as ages and seasons change.
Ludothèque La Place de Jeux
Oron-la-Ville, 1610
Two afternoons a week, on Tuesdays from 15:00 to 17:00 and Fridays from 15:00 to 18:00, the La Place de Jeux toy library opens its doors to families in the Oron region, on Route des Auges. Lending works on presentation of a membership card, to be requested directly on site. Beyond lending, the library takes part in games evenings organised with the Société de développement and regularly shares news of its latest additions, notably through a podcast, an original way to keep up with the newest games on the shelves. For children, every visit is a chance to head home with new discoveries under their arm. Worth noting: the library is closed during school holidays and on public holidays.
